The mineral waters are of essential balneological importance and are widely used for rehabilitation and sanatorium treatment. The term SPA is related to hydrotherapy, known as balnotherapy.
Mineral water can be used for external use (through baths, baths, showers) in hydrotherapy and hydrotherapy, as well as for inhalations or lavages for diseases of the nasopharynx and upper respiratory tract, and other similar purposes.
The mineral waters in Bulgaria have different content, ie. meet certain parameters that determine the priority non-zoological units, the "panel" of diseases suitable for treatment in the respective spa.
Of course, Pavel Banya is no exception in this regard. The mineral water here is characterized by low mineralization, respectively low amount of dry matter per liter (about 2 g) and hyperthermia - 57-59 degrees water temperature at the spring. It is, in general, hydrocarbonate, metasilicon, radon and fluorine.
